Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GeoJibe, including the GeoJibe website, hosted application, APIs, command-line tools, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. The Service
GeoJibe provides tools for importing, converting, transforming, processing, synchronizing, and delivering geospatial data.
The Service may allow you to connect GeoJibe to third-party systems and services, including databases, cloud storage providers, GIS servers, APIs, and other data sources or destinations.
Features may vary depending on your plan, deployment type, or subscription.
2. Your Account
Some features require a GeoJibe account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information;
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and access tokens;
- Activities performed through your account; and
- Promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share credentials or access tokens in a manner that circumvents account, user, or plan limitations.
3. Your Data
You retain all rights to the files, datasets, database contents, configurations, and other information that you upload, connect to, submit to, or process through GeoJibe (“Your Data”).
You grant us the limited right to access, copy, transmit, transform, and otherwise process Your Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Service.
We do not acquire ownership of Your Data simply because you use GeoJibe to process it.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to use, process, transfer, and store Your Data through the Service.
4. Data Sources and Destinations
GeoJibe may connect to external systems such as databases, object storage, GIS servers, cloud services, APIs, and other third-party platforms.
When you configure such a connection, you authorize GeoJibe to access that system using the credentials and permissions you provide.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring that you are authorized to access the connected system;
- Configuring appropriate permissions;
- Understanding the consequences of jobs that create, replace, modify, synchronize, or delete data; and
- Maintaining backups where appropriate.
GeoJibe is not responsible for the availability, security, operation, pricing, or behavior of third-party services.
5. Jobs, Transformations, and Automated Operations
GeoJibe may allow you to create transformations, scheduled jobs, synchronization jobs, recipes, workflows, notifications, or other automated operations.
You are responsible for reviewing the configuration of these operations before running or enabling them.
Automated operations may modify or overwrite data at configured destinations. You should maintain appropriate backups of important data.
GeoJibe does not guarantee that every conversion, transformation, synchronization, or other operation will produce the result you expect.
6. AI-Assisted Features
Some GeoJibe features may use artificial intelligence to help create transformations, jobs, expressions, configurations, or other instructions.
AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your particular data.
Where GeoJibe converts AI-generated instructions into a deterministic job or configuration, you remain responsible for reviewing that configuration before using it with important or production data.
You should not rely on AI-generated output without appropriate review and testing.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use GeoJibe to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of another person;
- Access systems or data without authorization;
- Distribute malware or malicious code;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- Attempt to bypass security, usage, account, or plan restrictions;
- Probe or attack GeoJibe systems without our written authorization; or
- Use the Service in a manner that creates unreasonable load or adversely affects other users.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect GeoJibe, our users, third parties, or the security and integrity of the Service.
8. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments
Certain GeoJibe features may require a paid subscription.
Prices, included usage, features, and billing periods are displayed when you subscribe or purchase a plan.
If a free trial is offered, the applicable trial period and any requirements will be disclosed when you sign up.
Paid subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date. You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation options available through your account or by contacting us.
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the applicable paid service period has begun.
Taxes may be added where required by law.
9. Service Availability
We work to keep GeoJibe reliable and available, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted operation.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, network problems, third-party failures, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Unless expressly provided under a separate written agreement, GeoJibe is provided without a guaranteed service level or uptime commitment.
10. Changes to the Service
We may add, modify, replace, or discontinue features of the Service.
Where a change materially affects a paid service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate notice when practical.
11. Intellectual Property
GeoJibe and its software, interface, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of GeoJibe or its intellectual property to you.
You may use GeoJibe only as permitted by these Terms and any applicable subscription or license agreement.
12. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about GeoJibe, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve or develop our products and services without obligation to compensate you.
This does not give us ownership of Your Data.
13. Third-Party Software and Services
GeoJibe may use, integrate with, or provide access to third-party software, open-source software, data services, APIs, and platforms.
Those products and services may be subject to their own licenses and terms.
We are not responsible for third-party products or services that are outside our control.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeoJibe is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose, dataset, coordinate reference system, transformation, database, or third-party service.
You are responsible for validating important results before relying on them.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from Your Data, your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using GeoJibe at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security risk, or use the Service unlawfully.
Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before terminating a paid account.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning ownership, liability, and disputes, will continue to apply.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in [JURISDICTION], except where applicable law provides otherwise.
