Supported formats

GeoJibe converts with a pinned spatial runtime (GDAL). The Convert list shows common formats first, then other writable drivers the runtime discovered.

This page is not a dump of every GDAL driver. If a format appears in Convert on your server, that runtime can write it.

Open Help → Docs in the app (Supported Formats) for the live catalog from the same runtime.

Common vector output

Common input

Anything the runtime can read can be uploaded or imported — including the table above, plus many GIS formats. Inspect tells you Format, Type (vector or raster), and Layers.

Formats that are several files

Shapefile is .shp + .shx + .dbf (and usually .prj). Zip them and upload the ZIP. Missing companions → The Shapefile is incomplete.

A ZIP must contain one spatial dataset.

Multi-layer formats

GeoPackage may contain several layers.

PostGIS One table; no layer picker

Destination limits

PostGIS, GeoServer, and GeoNode accept vector results. GeoServer and GeoNode always publish a GeoPackage for that one layer, even if you converted to something else first.

S3, SFTP, and Download store whatever Convert produced, including rasters.
