Import from GeoNode¶
Use GeoNode when the data is published in a GeoNode catalog.
GeoJibe supports GeoNode 5.x and commonly deployed GeoNode 4.x. You do not choose a version. GeoJibe detects what the site can do.
You need to be signed in.
Before you start¶
You'll need:
- GeoNode URL, for example
https://geonode.example.com - Username and password, or an API token
- A published vector dataset
The saved Source is the GeoNode connection. You choose the dataset each time you import or save a Job.
1. Save the GeoNode Source¶
Open Sources → Add Source → GeoNode.
Enter the URL and sign-in method. Click Test, then Save.
2. Add GeoNode on the Canvas¶
Add GeoNode, choose the saved Source or enter the connection, then Connect.
Choose a vector dataset and click Import. GeoJibe reads the published layer and inspects it.
After Import, Transform sees the real fields. Convert offers the normal format list.
You can run once without saving a Job.
3. Process and deliver¶
Add processing if you need it, then a Destination such as Download or PostGIS.
Click Run.
Saved Jobs¶
A saved Job keeps the GeoNode connection and the selected dataset. Each run imports that resource again.
