Import data from Hub

Use Hub when the file is stored as a Hub dataset version.

You need to be signed in. Saving the connection once is the usual path.

Hub is a separate catalog. GeoJibe downloads the chosen file, then Inspect, Preview, Transform, and Convert run on that local copy.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • The Hub base URL, for example https://hub.example.com
  • A Hub personal access token (not a GeoJibe PAT)

The saved Source is the Hub server and token. Folder, dataset, and version belong to each workflow.

1. Save the Hub Source

Open SourcesAdd SourceHub.

Field What to enter
Hub URL Installation origin, without a path
Personal Access Token A Hub token that can read the dataset

Click Test, then Save. Test should say it connected as your Hub user.

The token is stored encrypted. It is never shown back after save.

2. Add Hub on the Canvas

Add Hub, choose the saved Source, then pick:

Field What to enter
Folder Hub folder
Dataset Dataset name
Version Latest or a version number

Click Import. GeoJibe downloads that version and inspects it.

Scheduled Jobs store the connection plus folder, dataset, and version. Each run fetches that locator again.

3. Process and deliver

Add Convert or Transform if needed, then Download, PostGIS, or another Destination — including Hub.

Click Run.
